The history of the eared symbol began in pagan times. The main object of worship was the spring goddess Eostra. She was constantly accompanied by a hare. At the same time, there was a legend according to which the goddess Eostra, in order to save a wounded bird, turned it into a hare. But in it, the peculiarity of laying eggs remained from the bird, but not ordinary, but colored eggs. This explains why the Easter bunny brings beautiful eggs. In the English-speaking world, Easter is called "Easter", there is an opinion that this name came from the goddess Eostra.
The hare is a symbol of fertility among pagans, today it has become a kind and bright symbol of spring and a great holiday.
